ReplyDeletedear luke,I think you are not aware of a powerful feature in poweramp-If you are listening to a song and in between if you remove your earplugs,the song will be paused and will resume automatically whenever you plug it again,without any interference from us,in short,poweramp is running in the background for this feature.And it takes very less RAM,if my device reports right :)

ReplyDeleteAfter cracking is over, Open the unlocker, then you can see a hide unlocker option there,just tick it and launch poweramp. Either it will disapper at that time only,or after the next reboot. So no need to uninstall unlocker as it will then cause problems with licence verification after a few days.

Just curious though as to why one apk would need all the files deodexed? I can understand it for themes. And if I had a custom rom and downloaded an app from the playstore, wouldn't that be odexed? The best feature involving Poweramp is the direct volume control. Everything else is just about the same with all music players. DVC makes the music sound incredibly crisp and clear. If you never experienced it, you really don't know what your missing. But being I have, I'm spoiled and can not use any other player. They all sound horribly dull, and muffed w/o DVC. And not all cells can take advantage of DVC, my LG Connect does though. Anyway, at the playstore page, it warns this feature might not work with buggy custom roms.And for my cell, that's all they have are buggy roms. I'm stock, rooted, debloated. Besides I'm having problems with CWM or Rom manager where I have difficulty getting into recovery mode. I have to download CWM each and everytime I want to enter recovery mode. Even though it already installed. Otherwise it just reboots normally. Weird.

But now I am using stock ROM on my new phone (Moto G) and I have no plans to switch to custom ROM anytime soon. So I am trying to decide whether to wait for some fix to arrive for stock ROMs or switch to some other music player like PlayerPro or so on...

ReplyDeletePoweramp is the best music player ever,,and its favourite of 90% (even maybe more ) of the people who ever installed it.It is working fine,but not working on those odexed devices,which I assumed when I too got the licence verification error on my odexed ROM. So let me tell you a bit on how android licencing works.
Google provides android developers with Google play licencing service so they can check wheather their customers bought the apps from play store or not, by cross checking the device email id with the google play licencing server. This is a cloud based service and everything is handled by google.
Now the problem with this is android being open source, Its very easy to bypass the licence check,and tools like lucky patcher.
Now some experienced professional developers- like Maxin Petrov ,who are very thorough with their subject (has been 10+ year as java delevoper,java is everything behind an android app ) can make their own licencing setup, with their own server and all ,so He may have used some other pattern for the licence check,which is only known to him, we can crack it,but it will take much time.
Now when google had made the system,It was easily cracked because cracking it would make cracking everything simple. But why would anybody waste his time on knowing the algorithm of poweramp licencing, is the reason its taking this much time.

ReplyDeleteNO Its not used to root a phone.. It is just a root permission manager.. ie the software that gives root permission to apps once the phone is rooted.. So you need to google " how to root your_device_name" and follow the guide you find there to root your phone easily...It wont do any harm, so go and root straight away.

ReplyDeleteThe unlocker when installed, checks your email address with the google play server to verify if you had purchased the app via them. If it finds that your email is not in the poweramp paid list of emails, then poweramp will show you that you have not purchased the app and poweramp will stop working. Now with root, you are stopping the whole process of checking up with the google play server.. (in layman's language)

ReplyDeleteSound distorting has nothing to do with poweramp cracking. I think you may have not selected the "limit" option in the poweramp bass treble menu which is most probably making the sound distort. or else it there could be a problem with your hardware sound decoder... I can assure that its not a poweramp issue.

No never. Else you will loose the crack. Simply open the unlocker anytime and select the hide from menu option.

ReplyDeleteDude make sure that you update the lucky patcher when it prompts. and try to deodex all your system apps "google it to do so" and then try to crack poweramp.. you will suerly get it working.

my first guess: the unlocker.. maybe the unlocker has security thats why it fails after a few mins
second guess: it connects to the net. maybe we must not connect poweramp to the net bcause the verification takes place. disable album art dl ..

It failes because the developer is using custom LVL protection in poweramp other than what google gives for devs.. thats why its taking time to get a perfect fix. A new modded poweramp is on the way..will release it soon.

ReplyDeletei tried many things to get poweramp full version... i was amazed once all those 3 apk's worked fine in my rooted mobile... but after 1 day i got "license failure" error... i'm disappointed... plz fix that 'license failure' error soon... then until that plz suggest me how to avoid that error sir...

You are getting this error due to some problem in your system. Try uninstalling and reinstalling as the apk is working for everyone else.
Deletecracked poweramp & was listening 2 music & Internet was on long time after dat i got error failed license verification..earlier it worked f9 on my s2 more than 1 wk without any error..so my question is can't we use poweramp while Internet is on??

ReplyDeleteIt will work If you don't Install the unlocker. But you will have to clear data each 10mins.
DeleteIf poweramp catches you with fake unlocker then It will not allow you to use the player even If you clear data.

Also, while installing lucky patcher, i see a message stating not enough memory although i have 1GB of free memory
There are 2 possibilities-
DeleteEither your device is not rooted
or
You have not granted / accidently denied superuser permission to the unlocker.
